Searching Published Defect
Information
Useful Field Values
To find
patches for all products, search Published Solutions. Use a keyword of <patch> or set the
Solution Type field equal to <Patch>.
You can
further restrict a search by using the Product, Version, or Date fields. Field values are not case sensitive.

In order to
effectively search Published Solutions and / or Defects, it is important to
restrict your search results by setting field values and using keywords. Otherwise, too many search results will be
found for the number of rows that can be displayed.
If you are
uncertain as to the specific information you are trying to find, then do a
scanning search of the general knowledge base using keywords and a product
and/or version field restrictions.

Published
defects are reported in the monthly Critical Defect reports. The search result set will display summary
information about the defect and a detailed description of the issue.
In order to
effectively search Published Defects, it is important to restrict your search results
by setting field values and using keywords.
Otherwise, too many search results will be found for the number of rows
that can be displayed.
