Who needs the Landmark Software Manager (LSM)
All Landmark and GeoGraphix software users need the LSM to download R5000 patches / hot fixes.
Designated LSM Release Contacts will need the LSM to download releases.
What is an LSM Release Contact?
This person has permissions to download releases from the LSM. LSM Release Contacts are mutually designated by your Customer Service Representative (CSR) and software purchaser at your company location.
Accessing the Landmark Software Manager (LSM)
TThe LSM can be downloaded from the Customer Support Portal using Solution ID 150523 (see the LSM Download Instructions). You must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and be registered to use the Customer Portal to download the LSM.
How do I get a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
Contact Landmark Customer Support to request a PIN. You will be set up as a contact in our database and associated to the company location for which you are working. Please provide your company email address.
How do I register my PIN in the Customer Portal?
To Register
- Go to the Customer Support Home page
- Click the "Register your PIN here"link (found in the log in box)
- Enter your PIN and company Email Address. Click the Continue button.
- Complete the Registration information and press "Submit"
Make sure to write down the password that you create. Once you have completed the registration process, you are Signed In and can access the LSM download as well as complete other support functions
Who can see Releases?
Only users who are designated as LSM Release Contacts can see the Releases in the LSM Product Groups area. See the R5000 Release Matrix for summary information on R5000 releases.
How do I find out who is my LSM Release Contact?
Contact your account’s Customer Service Representative (CSR) for your or Customer Support. They will be able to determine who can download software releases for your company location.
Who can see Patches?
All users can view and download software patches from the LSM Product Groups area
How do I get email announcements about R5000 patches?
R5000 patches will continue to be announced via customer requested email subscription. Contact Customer Support and they will add your email to the patch distribution list.
Who manages the LSM Release Contact information?
This information is managed by the Customer Service Representative (CSR) for your company account. Contact Customer Support if you are unsure who your CSR is.
Why can’t I see my products in the LSM Product Groups area or Releases tab?
Contact your account’s Customer Service Representative (CSR) and have them verify your account information. The CSR can quickly verify the accuracy of your account information:
- Your account locations M&S contract may not be fully active.
- Or your account location may not have specific access to the software application.
Should I see all R5000 Release and Patches that are available?
The LSM will only display Releases and Patches for software applications that your account location is entitled to based on the existence of an active Maintenance & Support (M&S) contract for that software application.
Requesting R5000 Licenses
The R5000 releases will require new license keys. To request your licenses, go to the License Management page. A form will display requesting:
- Your name, contact information such as phone and email address, and your company information.
- System / Server Information for the FlexNet licenses.
The Licensing department will process your license requestas quickly as possible.
Requesting Software Media
Although the Landmark Software Manager (LSM) will be our primary means of software distribution, in the event that you require or prefer a DVD of the software, these can be made available for a nominal charge. Release and patch DVDs are orderable through the LSM.
To request DVD Media:
- Select your desired download items and move them to the My Download Cart. You may select multiple items.
- Highlight the down loads in the My Download Cart.
- Click the Order Media button.
Your order will be processed by Landmark Distribution as quickly as possible.
